Sports and Remedial Massage can be used to prevent injury and aid recovery of hard worked muscles. When the body is massaged there is an increase in circulation to the affected areas and toxins are removed. This can give a sense of relaxation and well being.

Often joints have reduced range of motion because of problems such as poor posture and biomechanical problems in walking and running. When this happens fascia (connective tissue) can stick together and over time this can become permanent. However frequently the body can be mobilised and manipulated to increase mobility and increase circulation thus allowing looser less restricted movement. This technique is called myofascial release.

Muscles can be stretched to improve circulation and certain trigger points are massaged which correspond to areas of the body which are uncomfortable. This often reduces pain.

Regular treatment is often recommended to help combat the wear and tear of life.
